1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the use of Rare Candy Raffles Ltd (“we,” “us,” “our”) website and services. By registering or purchasing tickets, you (“user,” “participant,” “you”) agree to be bound by these T&Cs.
1.2 Our competitions are skill-based and comply with UK law. A free postal entry route is available for all competitions.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Participants must be aged 18 or over and legally able to enter competitions in the UK.
2.2 Employees of Rare Candy Raffles Ltd, its affiliates, contractors, and immediate family members are not eligible to enter competitions.
3. Competition Entry
3.1 Users can enter competitions by purchasing tickets online or via the free postal route.
3.2 Ticket prices and competition rules are displayed on each competition page.
3.3 Each ticket is linked to a unique ticket number. Ticket numbers are generated automatically at the point of purchase.
3.4 Users must answer the required skill question correctly to validate their entry.
3.5 The maximum number of tickets per user may be limited as specified per competition.
4. Instant Win Feature
4.1 Some competitions include Instant Win tickets.
4.2 If a ticket matches a pre-generated instant win number, the user automatically wins the specified prize.
4.3 Instant wins are subject to availability. Once claimed, prizes cannot be reissued.
4.4 Winners of instant wins are notified by email and listed on the website in the “Claimed Instant Wins” section.
5. Draws & Winners
5.1 At the end of each competition, a randomly generated draw will determine the winner(s) of remaining prizes.
5.2 Winners are announced on the website and may be contacted via email.
5.3 By entering, participants consent to the use of their first name, last initial, town, and prize for publicity purposes.
5.4 Prize(s) must be accepted as awarded; no cash alternatives unless explicitly stated.
6. Payment & Refunds
6.1 All payments are processed securely, with 3D Secure enabled. No card details are stored on our servers.
6.2 Refunds are only issued at our discretion for duplicate transactions or technical errors.
7. Free Postal Entry
7.1 Every competition provides a free postal entry route in compliance with UK law.
7.2 Postal entries must be submitted according to the instructions on each competition page.
7.3 Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
8. User Accounts
8.1 Participants must provide accurate personal details.
8.2 Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account login.
8.3 Rare Candy Raffles Ltd is not liable for entries lost due to user error or failure to maintain account security.
9. Website Use
9.1 Users may not attempt to manipulate competitions or interfere with website functionality.
9.2 Automated entries (bots) or fraudulent entries will result in disqualification.
9.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of abuse or fraud.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Rare Candy Raffles Ltd is not liable for:
Technical failures or interruptions
Lost, delayed, or misdirected entries
Errors in prize delivery
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
10.2 Our liability for direct losses caused by our negligence is limited to the value of the prize.
11. Data Protection & Privacy
11.1 Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11.2 By entering, participants consent to us storing and using personal data to run competitions and contact winners.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 All content on Rare Candy Raffles Ltd website, including images, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by us or used under licence.
12.2 Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or use content without written permission.
13. Governing Law
13.1 These T&Cs are governed by English law.
13.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
14. Changes to T&Cs
14.1 We may update these T&Cs at any time.
14.2 The latest version will always be available on the website. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
